Delta Resource Management (Delta) was established in 2000 during a skills shortage in the international Card & Electronic Banking industry. With globalisation of the Card & Electronic Banking industry, specialisation became a necessity. It became extremely difficult for the industry to source experienced specialist resources.

After success in this industry, Delta broadened its recruitment profile to include business sectors such as Financial Services, Call Centre and Service, Manufacturing, Tele-communications, Retail, Information Technology and Legal/Finance industries. All of these industries compete for specialist resources locally and internationally.

In South Africa the competition for specialist resources is intensified by the "skills flight" and various BEE charters and requirements that strain the available resource pool of specialists.

Delta's research has shown that many agencies do not have the expertise to understand clients' needs and jobs briefs instinctively and in detail, thus wasting valuable time interviewing profiles and resources. Delta will not submit a candidate's profile unless fully assured that there is a very good potential of the candidate matching clients' needs.
